Terms & Conditions
To use the BASIC LISTING facilty for UK Travel Search you MUST read and AGREE to the Terms & Conditions to list your web site with UK Travel Search. You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions during the listing process.
How it Works:
Our BASIC LISTING service is available for listing your web site with UK Travel Search in your chosen business *listing catergory within the UK or Ireland ( *i.e. accommodation, tours, attractions, transport (including rental cars), bars, pubs and restaurants, travel agents and tour operators, and country, regional & local tourism information authorities.
Note: For your BASIC LISTING, you can only list your site ONCE on UK Travel Search in ONE business listing category and in ONE physical business operating location.
National 'Multi Location' Listings: ( i.e. Rental Car, Tour/Transport Operators etc)
If you require 'multi location' listings, Highlighted Listings or Web Page Listings can be listed in as many business operating locations as you wish. For 5 and over multi region listings please contact our Sales Department for a special quote.
Duplicate Listings:
Any duplicate URL listing(s) (including diferent pages) ie: www.myurl.com/index.html and www.myurl.com/bookings.html will be treated as spamming and ALL the offending URLs will be permanently removed. Please note carefully that once you have entered and confirmed your information in the Basic Listing Section it *CANNOT be changed without payment of an administration fee.
NO "Spamming"
No spamming of your Basic listing is allowed. Your listing *title (*name of your business or service) must be a proper sentence in English of NO more than *66 characters in total including spaces, and your listing description (Approx 10-12 words in English making up a proper sentence or sentences) must also be a total of NO more than *120 characters in total including spaces.(*This is to comply with Search Engine rules). No repetitive use of words or superlative description(s) (ie:" Best (superlative description) Cambridge (repetitive word) Hotel in Cambridge" ) is allowed. UK Travel Search reserves the right at all times to refuse a listing that it considers unsuitable due to these practises or any other unsuitable practises or offensive content. (eg: adult content)
Your BASIC LISTING requires human verification by UK Travel Search staff. This can take up to 48 hours after submission and payment.
Important:
A higher listing ranking precedence for search results on UK Travel Search WILL occur with HIGHLIGHTED and WEB PAGE LISTINGS due to the fact that HIGHLIGHTED and WEB PAGE LISTINGS are given a slightly higher ranking value in our search engine algorithm process than BASIC LISTINGS..
*If you require your information on your BASIC LISTING to be changed in the future we will require a "one time" administration fee of *£10.00 each time you require your information changed.
Listing Includes: Site Title: (68 alpha/numeric characters maximum)
Site Description: (120 characters including spaces- approx 10-12 words maximum)
1 digital photograph as you have submitted
Link from your Site Title to your Site URL
Grey 1 pixel border (Highlighted Listing has 2 pixel GOLD border)
