Well..Summer has now arrived - and its beautiful sunshine all around! Pimms, barbeques, Wimbledon, beautiful country gardens, the 'thwhack' of willow on leather as England prepares for the Ashes cricket series against Australia ...England and the UK is indeed a 'green and pleasant land' as we bask in this lovely summer of 2009!
And - the great deals continue with the fallout from the Recession - the dreaded "R" word! However - the silver lining for visitors to the UK (and London!) is that now has NEVER been a better time to visit us..as the UK Pound has fallen DRAMATICALLY and the US Dollar now buys you over 25% more, with the Euro now nearly level (!) with the UK £. The Aussie dollar is also now 2 dollars to £1 pound (a little over a year ago it was 3 dollars to the £ pound!)
As well, London is now still seeing some of the most amazing sales ever seen as the weak economy forces 'once in a lifetime' bargain prices for shopping, accommodation, restaurants and even theatre shows!
